I have the P90x dvds and I'm thinking of starting the 90 day challenge (basically it's 7 workouts/week, 1-2 hours/day - it's pretty intense). I'm going to have to get on a better schedule though cause I'm already super busy! I'm also going to try to cut out most junk food, I eat pretty well already but I'm sure I could do a tiny bit better :). What are your plans?
I have started my work out plan for 4-5 days a week of workout. However I am only doing 30 minutes lol. I need to kick it up. My wedding dress is very form fitting...and I don't want any bulges showing! Does anyone know of any really good workout videos? I have a tred mill at home but that gets really boring.... GOOD LUCK TO TONING AND SLIMING JUNE BRIDES!!! WE ONLY HAVE 5 MONTHS!!!

I'm also upping my work out routine... not only do i have the wedding in june but I just booked a boudoir session for April 17... I've got 12 weeks to drop 10-15 pounds! I'm in the BDW Biggest loser 8 competition... the scale is not showing the results I want but I'm feeling much better... I've been working out at the gym for about 45-60 min 6 days a week. Plus I've been eating pretty good... trying to keep my calories down. I've never been this motivated! I WILL lose weight... so help me!

I'm a June bride too! June 6th @ the Caribe Club Princess in Punta Cana.

No dress yet, although I've picked it out. STD's were sent out in Oct. Invitations were sent out 2 weeks ago. Working on OOT Bags and favors.

I too---have made it a challenge to drop a few (well more than a few, lol) pounds by June. I've cut back on calories, and have upped my exercise and activity---and water intake.

I'm toooooo excited :-)

I have never heard of p90x - I just googled it, but the guy looks pretty intense! lol...what is it exactly?

Wow!! Kudos to you all for going to the gym 5-6(or 7) times per week!! BAHH!! I've been working out at home and doing stairs in my building every day this week -- but I have not been pushing the hard cardio on the treadmill or eliptical.

Do you think it'll still be okay? How often should I start going? 6 days/week seems SOO overwhelming right now!! ahh lol

it sounds overwhelming but really it's not for me... i started going after work and it seemed like a lot of time... but now I go in the AM Before work and it takes up less time because I only have to shower once. I love it now... I highly recommend working out in the AM!! You'd be surprised!

Hey there - p90x is basically a total body workout plan, that is very dynamic and is basically designed to keep "tricking" your muscles so they keep responding (ie getting stronger). If you do the same workout all the time you eventually plateau and won't really improve, I like it because it's something different. Another option for you would be to incorporate something like a yoga class 1-2X week if you find the idea of a gym overwhelming (just to mix it up and keep you motivated). How often are you working out at home?

PS - I won't look like that guy after I'm done hehe.

It's funny you should mention this. FI just started doing this a couple of months ago. THe guy is pretty intense and it's funny to see my FI get all work-out aggressive because of it (rolling eyes...), lol.

Anyways, I have that Jenny McCarthy workout for the WII. I haven't been using it as much as I would like but it's pretty cool since it takes a picture of your body on a camera and tell you what you need to work on.

Well I've been sticking to the gym regime -- well not GOING to the gym, but I've been still doing stairs for 20 minutes/night and then working out for a total of an hour (on various things).

I feel better and actually lost 5 pounds already!! Woot!! The healthy eating is a big part of it -- and I'm up to 300 sit ups a day, 200 squats, and 100 side crunches (100 on each side!) Sounds crazy but goes by so fast, and is addicting! lol

how are you ladies doing?? 5 months!! :)

I too have kicked my workouts into high gear. I have a personal trainer that has be doing combat cardio bootcamp. It is really tough but I have lost over 10 lbs of fat and have lost over 6% body fat since I started. I'm hoping by June I am bikini ready and the lowest weight I have been in years!

I hope you ladies all reach your goal weight as well! Keep up the good work!
