I really like your hairdos! I have been told by a friend who happens to be a hairdresser that if you are having  your hair up for the wedding or AHR it should be a little dirty so that it keeps up!!!

Yeah, my sis is a hairdresser and she said that too!!! Whoops.... i really thought i was doing her a favour!! LOL... I will leave it ready for AHR, and just use dry shampoo in the mean time, my hair is Very oily and gets greasy quickly.....

 

I will take pix of my dress when i get it home, really dont like the ones that were taken on Sat, saying that im back in the shop with the seamstress on Thurs so i will take more pix and hopefully have some to post on thurs night :-) xx

Hi Girls,

 

We're getting married June 12 in Cancun and we're trying to decide between an indoor and an outdoor reception. We're concerned about heat first and foremost. Our reception would start around dusk, but I hear it can still be painfully hot at that time. Anyone have any experience with this? What about wind? Mosquitos? Anything I haven't thought of?

 

An outdoor reception would be so pretty, but not if everyone is suffering heat stroke!

Welcome along, What hotel are you getting married at?

The only thinbg i worry abou tis the mozzies as i get painfully bitten all over same as my mum, rest of the group say they are fine :-( We must have good blood!!! LOL xx

Regarding mosquito bites in Cancun and Riviera Maya.... They are mean!!! Every time I´m going down there, I take vitamin pills. I have read that the mell keeps them away.. Don´t know if it´s true but I will do it again this time for my wedding! 

 

I have bought some mosquito repelent lotion for my OOt bags....

Funny...I have never had any problems with mosquitos when I have been to the Mayan Rivieria. But I usually get some sand fleas bites on my feet from the beach.
