I like the idea of something to keep the kids entertained. We will likely have a number of kids attending. I know so far 3 young boys, ages 5-11, and a little girl who will be 8 months old. hmmm...going to have to come up with some ideas! :)

I´m worried that our 2 year old (who will be nearly 3) is going to kick off at our wedding. THB i will be gobsmacked if he doesn´t kick off, and so far i haven´t come up with anything that stops him mid-tantrum. I need supernanny!
Maybe i´ll just give him a bucket and spade and he can play in the sand while we say our vows!

I had a most bizarre dream last night that me and kylie and dani minogue were all trying our wedding dresses on, and mine was hideous... had to go straight over to my mums this morning to try it back on and reassure myself!

Glad i'm not the only one then ha ha... i just hope Scarlett's attention seeking doesn't put stress on the day. I'm hoping she will want to follow in the footsteps of the older girls coming, (twins of 7, 6yr old and 9yr old).. maybe get them some colouring books etc..

bucket and spade sounds good. whatver make em happy! and to ease you through the ceremony ah ;o)...

fingers x'd all the little en's are good x

Hey there 2011 brides!! I am getting married March 11,2011 at Azul Sensatori in Riviera Maya. We got engaged July 2009 and pushed the date out on purpose due to cost and travel expenses for our family. I do feel like I have so much to do especially looking at this forum. There are so many great ideas that I never thought of. I am a true procrastinator at heart so I need to get moving!! I have a 6yr old son and 7yr old soon to be step daughter. We chose Sensatori bc it is family and kid friendly. My current demlima is what and where to go for our honeymoon. Our kids will be returning with grandparents so we are good for any adult only resorts. If anyone has any suggestions, let me know.

Excited,

Heather

Welcome Heather! If you want to go to an adults only resort FI and I have been to a couple great ones along the Mayan coast.
1) El Dorado Casitas Royale, owned by Karisma is stunning. Very quiet, and every 10/12 suites has it's own pool and bartender. Lots of restaurants to choose from, and great service!
2) Excellence Riviera Cancun. Wonderful resort, beautiful beach, great service and food.
3) Grand Pallidum, White Sands Royal Suites. Only the Royal Suites area is adults only, so not sure if this quite fits the bill. But this by far has the most stunning rooms we have ever come across, especially the balconies (one with an outdoor jacuzzi and shower). And it is your honeymoon :)

If you want any more specifics, just ask! Good luck with your planning.
