timeshare rentals in Kauai

Hi,

 

Is anyone renting a timeshare in Kauai for their wedding? Renting from private owners? I know alot of the major resorts are part of timeshares

(ie wyndam,m arriott) so I am not sure if it is cheaper to rent through a private timeshare owner or directly from a TA, or the resort.
