As mentioned above, the Barcelo properties have one. It's open air and SO beautiful!!! Ii stumbled upon it and it really is gorgeous. It's surrounded by fountains. It would be perfect for a wedding!

You should check Valentin Imperial Maya, I'm getting married there on May 28 and 29 2010.

They have an onsite Catholic chappel, and you can also have your legal ceremony on the beach.

It's an Adults only 5 star all inclusive resort, it excels for its great service, beautiful beach and excellent food. You should check reviews about this hotel on Tripadvisor.

If you would like to go there and see it, the hotel offered us special rates for all our guests (about 40% less than web rate), you could go as one of them, just by making your reservation using my reference. I also have the name of the wedding planner in the hotel. If you're interested please let me know!

Sincerely,

Gigi

Hi Shannon!

We just booked the Lindo yesterday and are getting married at the Chapel at the Iberostar as well! We are inviting quite a lot of guests (both have huge families) and are "definites" are adding up to 60 guests already, so we will be packing them in as well. :)

I was told the best time to do a catholic ceremony is 3:00 so there is enough time for pictures afterward before the sun goes down. My concern is that will leave a LOT of time until the reception starts. Are you doing a cocktail hour afterwards? Or leaving guests to their own devices while you take pictures?

Another question: Are you doing the "legal" wedding at home first? We are considering this, but I wasn't sure if that would affect the whole Pre-Cana and Catholic wedding requirements if we're already legally married?

Zoetry Paraiso de la Bonita is an amazing AI and just 10 minutes form Puerto Morelos. They have a beautiful church right in front of the water in PM town square, which is nice cuz it gives you the feeling of getting married in a small Mexican town and then having your reception at the resort.

The Gran Caribe Real Chapel in Cancun is SIMPLY GORGEOUS.

Thier sister resort next door, The Royal Cancun is SIMPLY AMAZING.

You'd love it there.... THe Royal is my FAVORITE place/vacation of all time (stayed in 2007)

The chapel is so amazing....I would almost get married there, but we aren't Catholic :)

I don't know if this is what you were looking for but Moon Palace Resort has a wedding gazebo called the Immaculate Conception Chapel. It is a smaller wedding gazebo which fits about 80 people but instead of chairs, they have pews.
