Dallas Area Brides!!!

A friend of mine just told me that Terry Costa (bridal and formal wear store) is closing! This store has been a Dallas brides staple for as long as I can remember- my sister got her dress there. Since they are closing however, they are having huge sales on all their dresses, samples etc. SO...for those of you looking for a bargain on a gown, you might want to head down there asap to check it out!

 

I know they carry a really wide variety of deisigners. The friend who told me about the store closing said that she purchased her BM dress from there for a wedding for only $55. Not too shabby. . . ;-)

They're off of Preston and 635...There's a shopping center there and that's where they're located. I can't think of what else is in it as a landmark...but Terry Costa is pretty big - you can see it from Preston.

Why don't you go by yourself the first time? That way you can get a feel for what YOU like in a dress without other people nagging you to try on other things or frustrating you. After you narrow down some ideas, then bring back your grandma maybe

I'm scared to go to such a big store for the first time by myself. I have no idea what to look for... A little boutique I think I could deal with going by myself, but not sure about this.

Jamie--- it's that as large as you are thinking. I was in there back in April to look at BM dresses and it wasn't any big deal. Just don't be deterred when you pull up and the window display is full of neon colored/hoochie quince dresses. We almost turned around when we saw that, but when we went inside, we found the exact style of BM I wanted (just the wrong color) and I found a bridal gown that I absolutely LOVE!!!
