Hey Beach Bride! Congrats on your wedding. I'm a little on the busy side, but I like the "go, go, go" of it all I just got my contract with Jerome. It's gonna cost 1800 for 5 hours and 1 hour the next morning for a trash the dress session. One of those hours is paid by the Hilton, so if you aren't doing it at the hilton or you want more hours just add 300$(her hour) to the 1800 quote.
He also has a second photographer for 100$ an hour if you would like that.

My wedding coordinator gave me a list of the photographers they use if you would like that list?...

I am a Hilton Los Cabos bride and am getting married June 21, 2010 (yes a Monday! LOL!)

 

So far my experience with the Hilton has been great. I agree with Michelle, a lot of times you just have to ask and they will make it work. As far as vendors, I am actually not using any of their vendors, except DJ Joaquin and Mango for my Vidgography. When I asked Tathiana about this back in June 2009, she said that is fine, but they are not responsible if the vendors don't show up, etc. I have selected vendors who have been highly recommended through this forum so I feel very confident that they will do an amazing job. The Hilton really is an amazing venue and I am SO excited to get married in just a few months. Everyone has been super helpful in helping me stick to my budget and they definitely go out of their way to accommodate their brides.

I used Marzte floral and they were great. Our flowers were beautiful!! Flowers can be expensive though so one thing you might want to talk to her about it different types. For example, we had hydrangeas but there are two different types at different price ranges. The mexican hydrangeas are smaller then the european ones but a lot less expensive and equally as beautiful. Just a suggestion.

 

Photographer- we used Irela Garcia. We were more the pleased with her work and loved her. She's great!! I think her price was great too. We contracted with her on our own.

 

Dj-Ricardo- He was wonderful. We contracted with him on our own too.

 

Angel Zapien-videographer- He's a little spendy but so worth every penny. If you splurge on something, do so here. A video captures memories that will last a lifetime. We have showed the video to all our family and friends that couldn't make it to the wedding.
