New Secrets Maroma Bride?

I just joined and am planning on an October wedding in Riviera Maya. I realize that this is hurricane season, but it works with my schedule (teacher on fall break). I have done extensive research and think I want Secrets Maroma as my locale but am waiting to hear back about availability for the October dates. I also looked at El Dorado Royale but feel like Secrets is nicer and has a lower fee for outside vendors. If anyone has another place she thinks is better, I'm still open to changing.
