Riu Palce Tropical Bay Bride - any info would be great

Hi all,

 

My name is Leah and my fiance and I are having our wedding at the Riu Palace Tropical Bay in Negril. Our date is set for May 27th 2010 at 2 pm. We will be travelling with a group of 32-35. Does anyone have any info on reception locations? We really want to have it outside and want it to be private so any info you can provide would be really appreciated!

Thanks to all! There isn't a lot of info about Riu Palace Tropical Bay. I heard it used to be called Riu Tropical Bay so maybe I will search that.

Welcome to the forum and congrats on your engagement. I was married at Riu Palace Tropical Bay on March 7, 2009 and I posted several threads with pictures and documents containing the information you are looking for. If you are unable to locate them, please advise and I will assist you. To make it easier, you can click on my username and review all of my posts. Please keep in mind that the prices change often.

 

As you will see per the post, I opted for the free wedding and used the free bouquet as my throw away. I ordered all my flowers (real touch flowers)from Hibiscus florals (Mark and Jackie are great). You will see additional pictures of my wedding on their website under testimonials. My ceremony took place at one of the two garden gazebos onsite. We hired the steel band to perform during the ceremony and we opted for the private reception with a DJ (we provided him with the music we wanted to be played for the reception). I purchased many candles for the tables, centerpieces and 3,000 petals for the wedding ceremony and tables at the reception. I created a Wedding Logo and had a friend create programs for me, I also created my Save the Dates. I purchased cake flowers and flowers for the fans, ribbon, canvas tote bags and numerous other items from Hobby Lobby. Photography by Misha of Sungold affliliates and we had a friend video the ceremony.

 

I will include a few websites. Lots of planning but it's all worth it in the end. Again, please advise if you need any help. Everyone is incredibly helpful.
