What a nice gesture

My FI & I spent Christmas in FL with his family this year & while we were there his mom & I looked at flight prices for our trip. Tickets were like $800 a piece from the airport close to us & about $450 from an airport 2 hours away. So we came home & both got sick so I didn't do much else with the information. His mom called yesterday & booked our flights with her frequent flyer miles. I was shocked, and that was so nice her to do. We now have some extra money to spend on some "extras" we weren't going to do. I am just amazed that airlines haven't changed the prices of international flights yet...just seems so over the top.

We feel so lucky. It's a great savings for us and think this is just great. I am just thankful we have a few people (about 15) coming with us and everyone is supportive. I feel for everyone that struggles.
