Newbie from Toronto

Hello everyone. I'm Cindy. My fiance Jason and I recently got engaged and are planning a destination wedding. We are hoping to get married in November 2010. Original we were thinking of Beaches Turks and Caicos for our wedding but we are concerned about keeping costs reasonable for our guests so now we are thinking maybe Dreams Los Cabos - it looks beautiful and I've read lots of great reviews (including some really helpful ones on this site). We would then go to Turks and Caicos for our honeymoon (we love to scuba dive and I hear Turks and Caicos is amazing for diving).

I'm sure there are lots of forums on this, but I would love to hear where all you brides recommend for a beautiful wedding (with a reasonable price for guests).

I apologize if there is already a forum on this but I would love to hear your views on whether to use a destination wedding coordinator locally (there appear to be lots in Toronto) or to hire one in Los Cabos (or wherever we end up) or to just use the resort coordinator and do the rest yourself.

I look forward to chatting with everyone and can't wait for my wedding!

Know what I didn't use any wc except the one my resort provided back in 07'. Yes it was a bit difficult but in the end it was worth it I say go for it. It's your special day and if all you're going to do is worry about it if you didn't get one then I would probably go for one. As for Dreams Cabo i believe they have a very good wc. I think we even have some reviews if you dig around and use the search function.

hi and welcome!! definately do a different resort for your HM. splurge on that and do the more reasonable resort for your guests. we're getting married at Dreams Cancun and can't wait!!!
