Hello All!!

 

I'm Stef. I'm from the little bitty small town of Stayner ON Canada. I am marrying an American and moving to Peoria Illinois. Needless to say planning a wedding and going through the immigration process is quite stressful!! But of course I'm super excited for my big day on June 12, 2010. We are getting married on the beach in Siesta Key, Florida and having our reception on a dinner cruise.

I'm so glad I found this site as I think it will help me tremendously and to be in contact with tons of other brides will get me even more excited!!

I'm looking forward to browsing the site more and getting some great ideas!

Hi Stef! Congratulations on your wedding and immigration! We are getting married in Key West, Florida 2 weeks after you! I love your dinner cruise idea for a reception - I had thought about doing something similar, but my FMIL is phobic of the water.

 

Have a great time planning everything - you'll find a lot of ideas and advice here!

Julie, that's where we are going for our honeymoon. Once I come to the states i'm not allowed to leave for awhile! So we rented a convertible and we are going to drive down there on the 13th til the 19th! Where are u getting married? We are thinking of staying at the Southernmost on the Beach. It looks real nice!

Stef - It's a really lovely drive though the keys to Key West. We're getting married at the Pier House resort. Southernmost does look beautiful - I've never stayed there but I've biked by it several times! Key West is one of my favorite places. PM me if you need any restaurant ideas ;-)
