Dress Is In...Now What??

Okay girls, so the update is I went in and tried on my dress! It fit!! So hopefully all my nightmares will be over! LOL The store said they will hold my dress as long as I need them to (at no cost), even if I don't get my alterations done there. So I'll probably keep it there until April or so and then take it to my MOH's mom for the alterations. I'm so relieved!

Wow! So much to take it. i have not even started looking for my dress yet. I go feb 6th/10. I am glad someone started this. I now have lots of questions to ask when i go shopping. Thanks!

Yes every salon is different.. I wanted to take my dress a month before the wedding and the salon suggested that I left it there until 2 weeks before so that I can come in for a FINAL fitting and have any adjustments made at the last minute so that it fits perfectly for the big day. Some people stress at the last minute and lose weight and other people worry and gain some weight either way leaving it there until the last minute guarantees that it is a perfect fit on your big day IMO. Do what makes you feel comfortable. Good luck
