How to use a travel agent?

I have finally been able to reschedule my DW!

We have a small group of people traveling with us, leaving from various parts of the U.S., mainly Baltimore, New York, and Atlanta.

My question is, how do I go about locating a TA? Should I leave it up to my guests to make accommodations or get a TA in my own area who could help with arrangements for those leaving from other areas? Is it even necessary for a group of less than 10?

Have you booked your wedding location already? If not, you could do that through your TA and s/he can arrange everything for you and your guests as well. It doesn't matter if they're local to you/your guests. I used Tammy Host as our TA and she doesn't even live in the same country as I do! You and your guests should be able to contact your TA through email or most have toll free numbers as well.
