Hello all! Does anyone have any advice on how to get from Montego Bay to Jamaica w/o a ton of layovers? My travel agent has been searching as well and the best we can find still has 2 layovers and spending the first day of our honeymoon in airports...ughh...

I was thinking maybe a ferry or island hopper? Any thoughts.

Have you looked at LIAT? That's the only island hopper plane I can think of. Unfortunately much of the Caribbean is served by American Airlines and pretty much everything goes through San Juan, PR or Miami.

 

The distance is pretty far to travel by boat. Not that air is much better. It took us longer to get from St. Lucia to the Dominican Republic than it did to get from New York to St. Lucia. My guess is you'll have to deal with a very annoying day of flying.

 

Are you flexible about which airport you fly into on St. Lucia?
