Groomsman Outfits

What did you all have your groomsmen wear? You can see how unhelpful my FI is that I am planning this. My girls are wearing strapless pinkish red JCrew dresses, and my FI is wearing a black suit with a white shirt underneath without a tie. Any ideas?? Do you know of good national places to rent suits from?

you could just have them all wear black suits pants and white linen shirts, or some version of that? Since they won't be wearing a tux I wouldn't think they would need to rent anything. Just pick something they either already own or can buy and wear again? just a thought...

what about the groomsmen wearing the same thing, but no jacket?

 

keith is wearing a beige/khaki suit (should he ever go shopping) with a white linen shirt under, untucked, no tie..the 2 groomsmen are going to wear beige/khaki pants and a white shirt, no jacket, no tie. my BMs are wearing white dresses from white house, black market.

Brendan is going to wear a "mild" Tommy Bahama Hawaiian shirt (white/beige based) while his 3 best men are going to wear louder Tommy Bahama Hawaiian shirts (whatever color they want.) I am only have my 2 sisters (Matron on Honor & Maid of honor) and I told them they could wear whatever they wanted - they don't have to match. Afterall, it's a beach wedding and everyone is relaxed. But I can see if you want it a certain way for your pictures. But the groom should definitely stand out from the groomsmen (in some way.)

My fiance is wearing a light beige linen suit with a white linen shirt not tucked in. The groomsmen are wearing beige linen pants with a creme color shirt, also untucked. My bridesmaids are wearing burnt orange tee length dresses.

 

My fiance did not want to match the groomsmen so we got them different shirts and different color beige pants. My fiance is not wering the suit jacket during the reception so he wanted to stand out from the others, which makes sense. Just depends if you want them to match or not. If your fine with it, then black pants and a white shirt.

I love the JCrew BM dresses! Since we are getting married in July I am not sure my FI will wear a suit as it might be too hot. I like anything beige/tan and white.
