LoveIs...I almost used that same template! Yours looks so great!! i love the bars and activities and stuff you included I ended up changing it so i have 2 pages per page instead of 4. I printed all of my welcome letters today at work...i love having a boring job at the moment! tonight i'm going to hole punch them and pin them together with the Fishy pins i have found.

You work out classes sound sooooo fun! my gym has one of those like once a month but haven't made it to one yet. good idea to learn some moves before the wedding!

 

Moody, good job on the Ring! we are going to try and return FIs ring tomorrow...we had it custom made, but it looks like crap! from a distance it's sooo nice, but when you really look at it, the workmanship is terrible! But the good news is, yesterday my jewelr found a guy to make my ring and guarantees it for March 1st, but i have a back up plan if it's not done, or it's crap like FIs...I wouldn't go through with getting mine made, but it's a different person making it.

I know what you mean about feeling naked without your ring...i've been ringless for 4 weeks now!! sucks! i'm wearing a stretch "diamond" toe ring on my finger..kind of looks like my wedding band so it works, but i miss my pretty ring!

 

I ordered my garter yesterday off ebay! I wanted to get one made the jamaican flag colors, but they looked kind of stupid when i saw one made. so i went with Black and Turquiose which i hope will match my blue-ish undies for my wedding!

No, H2b still not sorted his suit but fingers crossed it will be the last thing to cross of the do list tomorrow, he is going to purchase one he seen last week.

Moody I am so happy about your ring! Who knew the ring would be so challenging. Then I get his in because I picked it out and he does not want to see until the ceremony. I was so frustrated because I searched for this ring and really excited for him to see it.

 

Keerj..I order my garter from e-bay as well. Oh two pages... great idea. I haven't printed them yet. Might change them now.

 

Question ladies.. Are you all covering the basis for something old, new, borrowed, blue?

 

Baj..as far suits. menswearhouse is having a 50% sale on there suits. We ordered FI BM slacks from there for $64.99 and they are going to ship to him and they should be there by Thursday. Also they had 50% off sandals FI both his, my dad's and BM shoes from there. I am so happy that is over. But FI's and my Dad's suits have still not come in.

 

FI was AWESOME this weekend. We did wedding stuff all day Saturday and some Sunday and some V-day stuff and he did not complian once. I was exhausted by the end. JcPenny's had some cute summer clothes and old navy if anyone is still looking. I am going to old navy this weekend and rack up then I am done.

Hey Lady .. my something borrowed.. I'm still working on .. my something blue ..is my garter FI fav team is the UNC tarheels ..so I got a UNC garter .. my something new lol ummm everything I have on will be new so that better count for something

Okay I've stopped the tears and have successfully moved forward! My travel agent kept telling me to wait for price to drop for RTP so I waited. When the prices did drop they were way higher then expected and I knew my guest would not be able to afford. So I changed resorts and wedding date and am now getting married at the Club Hotel. I am happy with the change but so much drama and tears to get here. Well on to the good I ordered real touch flowers from Afloral and was so happy with the results. I just need to put them together. I ordered recycled plastic tote bags and ordered my logo in a sticker format. If the bag got lost or stolen it is no big deal. My mom and I teamed up to use the same centerpiece items for my shower/reception and we split the cost! Koyal Wholesale is awesome we got 6 trumpet vases, led bases, and floralytes. I ordered personalized cups from factory 21 on Ebay they have great prices. I'm still lacking on the OTT med kits and invitation wording but it will come together. I ordered Hotfix rhinestones from Ebay to bling out shirts and anything else, bridal gifts are being done by the family artist, my dress ordered from Landy bridal, quotes on Huppahs, hair quotes, and excursions picked out. Oh yeah and I need to contact the wedding coordinator uh oh....

Oh Precious, sorry to hear the bad news...but glad it worked out in the end. we just need to remember to breath and things will work out! i keep reminding myself that when it comes to the rings! And good work getting so much stuff done already!

Blue - undies and garter and shoes

Old - My mom's mom's mom's Cameo necklace she got for her 21st bday...so it's about 100 years old! it's not really my style, but it's so beautiful and meaningful that i can't imagine wearing anything else!

Borrowed - My MOH's is borrowing me her gma (who is my moms moms's sister) bracelet

New - My dad is buying me earrings, so i'm going to wear those.

 

I'm almost finished my OOT bags...but ran out of ink for the iron ons for the shirts, so just need to finish those. I'm finally done the welcome letters which were sooo much work but so worth it! If i knew how to attach a pic i'd show you...then LoveIs you can see my 2 page letter!

Hi Ladies, only 17 days to go and H2b finally got his suit, alterations underway and he will collect on Friday, no more stress.......

 

Precious, I was in exactly the same situation 1st choice RTB but again the cost was too high for our guests so booked the Riu Negril clubhotel instead and also very happy with the change of location.

 

My something blue will be a garter and ankle beads, the new my dress, underwear, earings and necklace and the borrowed a pearl headband, what my sister wore for her wedding in 2009.

 

Just counting down the days now until we travel on the 1st March 2010.

Precious..Sorry to hear but in the end it always works out.

 

I don't have anything for borrowed or old. Since I am orignally from New Orleans, most of family things were destroyed. I am asking my mom for ideas.

 

Mailed my pre-wedding packets today! I will put one together and take a pic to post. Kerrij..I opened a photobucket account and just post the link to display the pic.

 

Finishing the OOT bags this weekend. Waiting for Pashmina's to come in. I found someone to take some of my stuff. Fi keeps asking me how I am going to get all the stuff there. So, I am putting aplan in place!

 

Moody..... I saw your FI's suit. It looks awesome! So jealous...I order a few days before and they are still not ready. They said they had to remake it because there was an issue the with the first one!!!!! I e-mail them every day. I know they are tired of me but this is ridiculous.

I'm getting my dress alterations tonight!! So excited, i just had to share! and my engagement ring should FINALLY be in today...it's been gone for 5 weeks!! WTF eh! fingers crossed it arrives and I'll go pick it up at lunch.
