I chose a less expensive resort and location for my guest. I wanted Hawaii but it would have out priced most ppl. But the crazy thing is that the people who are going to come are going to come. I don't mean go crazy. Mine is about $850 per person. I though this was fairly reasonable. We are going to switch resorts for our honeymoon. A more expensive one to satisfy what we want as well.

This is very stressful because I know my family! The majority of them cant afford to go. I sent out little flyers regarding the wedding but this was before I actually had a resort picked out. I had a set price for the resort and people started running away. So far I have 50-65 people saying yes but I bet by the end of the day I'll only see half of the people there!

Man, this was such an issue. At first I got the whole "Oh, whatever makes you happy" speech. Then I got the, "That costs HOW much?" speech. I moved the location and got the "Quit changing your mind so much" speech. So I said to hell with them all and picked the location I liked best.

No one says they HAVE to stay with you. Most of the AI resorts (even in Mexico) will let you have outside guests with a day pass if they are not up to paying for the resort you choose. Just make sure you let them know about that option.

Hi everyone, I'm trying to decide between 2 hotels in Jamaica both from the same hotel chain Iberostar. One is mroe expensive $2000 pp with flight, hotel, ect for 7 nights and the lower end one is $1600pp

The main differences are the # A La Cartes (6 vs 3), the rooms (all are suites vs regular rooms) and age (1 year vs 10 years) and with the more expensive one you can visit the other for free. I have guests ranging for 50+ (who travel every year so $ isn't an issue) and 25-30yrs where $ is more tight. I want the more expensive one just not sure if this will work for everyone?

I know my friends can stay at the lower end one but I am trying to keep the group together! What should I do??
