When should I have my shower?

Mine is also about 6 weeks prior to the wedding. But it really just depends what works for you!

I think a month to a month and a half is a good time to have a shower. My wedding is at the end of July so I think we're going to do the shower near the end of June but before the July 4th weekend.

Im getting in married June 12th...my just called and said she plans on April 16th. That sounds about right. right? I'm glad over DW brides are having a shower. I have mixed feelings due to having a destination wedding. I love this site!!

woops. My MOH wants to have my shower sometime in June. I'm not getting married until NOVEMBER! However, most of my family is on the West Coast and my MOH is preggers so I guess I dont have much of a choice, esp. since she's due about 8 weeks before my wedding.

 

Is it bad to have it so early??

I threw my friend's bridal shower one month before the wedding. She asked for it to be that much ahead so she knew she'd be stressed the month of the wedding
