Private Receptions at the Majestic Colonial

I am getting married this February at the Majestic Colonial in Punta Cana and am having trouble deciding/planning a private reception. Can anyone tell me where they have picked to have theirs and how it works in terms of how long it will be, alcohol, music, dance etc. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

We didn't do the private reception but we rented out the Parrot bar for our reception and I know you can do your dinner there as well. We actually moved everything inside due to the weather but overall everything was great. Lots of girls have done the Terrace, or the Wet Bar or the Parrot Bar depending on the size of your group and all are great options. The presidental suite is an option to but I know it's pretty expensive. If you check out the Facebook group, Majestic Colonial Brides you'll find tons of info on dinner options and get feedback from those whom have already had theirs. Hope that helps a bit.
