where to find musicians in cancun?

so i am thinking replacing DJ with musicians to cut cost for my small wedding, but it's so hard to find any! the hotel charges me $400 per 45 mins for any musicians i choose, that's crazy! any sugguests? =)

can the resort suggest anyone?cause im guessing you will have to get permission for them to come into the resort?maybe if you were to have them for longer than the 45mins it would work out cheaper?

sigh the communication between me the resort is very very slow, (i guess i am impatient at the same time) they said i can bring in outside vendor but need to purchase a day pass. I want to compare the prices, see which one is cheaper but it's hard to find any musicians around and still waiting for the resorts email
