The Hard Rock is taking over the Moon Palace Resort in the Spring. Apparently nothing is changing, except the name, the casino and some music inspired decor. I am planning my wedding there for June 2010 (of course, I began planning BEFORE it was a Hard Rock). Not sure how it will be, but we'll see!!

As long as I dont have to get married by Elvis, or behind a glowing neon yellow guitar...I'll be fine.

It is all-inclusive, 11 pools, 4 swim up bars, a gorgeous beach, golf, spa and casino. The rooms also have jacuzzi tubs IN the rooms. Pictures of the place are pretty impressive. I have a friend traveling there for vacation this weekend...so when I hear back, I'll post more info and maybe some pics! Any other brides plannig their wedding at Moon Palace/Hard Rock Resort?!

At first I wasn't too pleased when I heard about the change, only after about a month of signing the contract. However, the more I thought about it, I figured it would add an extra element of "good times" which I really want to make sure our guests are provided with. As long as the feel is still Punta Cana, not Vegas, I'll be good!

Hi,

I also started planning my wedding before the change was announced, actually 2 weeks before final payment was due for the rooms I got an email. I was scared at first, but my wedding is in 2 weeks March 27, I will keep everyone posted on how it goes.
