Help me find this bridesmaid dress- Maggie London

Yeah, I wouldn't ask her to be in the wedding either. Especially since she lives out of state and you guys haven't been friends for awhile... after her wedding will she slip off the radar again?

I think the honor of bridesmaid should be held for those who will be there through thick and thin no matter what.

Long story, but she has been.. we've been friends since 8th grade. (18 years!) Apparently she was going through a huge depression and rather than call me, she completely shut me out.. she was dating a new guy and I took it the wrong way.. plus I really needed her at the time. I got tired of her not calling me back/answering emails after about 4 months so when out of the blue she writes me a long letter like nothing was wrong.. I told her to piss off.. She just recently got up the courage to contact me again and explain everything, hence the friendship is back on track.

I just don't want to regret it.. you know what I mean? I don't want to look back in another 18 years and hate that I didn't ask her because of a stupid dress.. (and other financial obligations, but mostly because of the dress.)

all three girls really like the dress.. it's flowy on the bottom so it will hide lumps and bumps and they wanted to be able to wear a bra so they went with the halter.

I think I'm going to stick with the three and call it a day.... I just don't want to disappoint her. I know my matron of honor wants to be the one to "take care of me" because she already mentioned a bride's day kit and was really excited about it so I don't want to give the new girl another job, like an attendant.
Sorry I am late on this, but I was also going to tell you to just leave her out. She has no idea you were going to ask her. If you get a dress, than go a head, if not, no worries, she will still be a big part of your day. Give her a special job, like saying a few words or something.

how close are the blues in the dresses we found online - did you ask the Nordstroms people (not sure they'd know)?

is there a real similar dress in a matching color? not many people would notice (or care!) if there slight differences in the style. it's probably easier to hide a style difference over a color difference.

maybe 1 girl could get a dress to match the new girl - then it would be 2 in the "old" dress and 2 in the "new" dress.

girls often tend to exagerate their size ("oh my god, i am sooo fat!")- maybe she is not really that big? can she try on teh dress and then you go from there if it doesn't fit?
any of these an option? (i love quoting myself!)

lol.. didn't mean to ignore your question. The other colored dresses aren't going to work, they're too light and I don't want her to stick out in any way.. if anyone should stick out it would be my MOH.

I could ask one of the other girls to wear a different style dress, but they all really love it the dress they picked..

why did I decide to have bridesmaids again? lol

I think I'm going to wait until my friend's wedding is over and then maybe talk to her about it? I'll bring the dress..maybe she did exaggerate about her weight, but I really don't think so.

what about 1 of the other girls getting a slightly different dress? then it would be 2 and 2! or just take the dress you have with you shopping so you can match the color - it seems like there are a lot of similar style dresses - that would be ok, right?
