We flew American Airlines for our wedding in Mexico. They let me bring my bouquet in a small roller board carry-on. I felt safe putting them in the roller board because the sides are harder. My bouquet was giant so it took up most of the suitcase but I put soft things are the rest of it. I was afraid we would be stopped because of the metal inside the stems but the metal detector did not go off. That didn't matter because we still got searched but it was NOT because of the metal in the bouquet.
