Gran Bahia Principe Ambar vs. NH Royal Beach?

So since we had to cancel our DW, FI and I have decided to spend our honeymoon in the D.R. We’ve narrowed it down to 2 resorts…the Gran Bahia Principe Ambar, and a new resort called the NH Royal Beach Grand Luxury Resort. Does anyone know anything about the Ambar so I can make a better educated decision?

I was just married at the Gran Bahia Punta Cana. I stayed in the Royal Golden section but some of my guests stayed in the Ambar section. They really enjoyed the rooms and the amenities that were included in that section of the resort. The resort itself is huge and you can always find a place to eat, sit, drink and tan. Which ever resort you choose I'm sure that you'll have a great holiday.
