Response Cards

Anyone have a unique wording idea for response cards? We did a MIB invitation & have a starfish theme. I was thinking of something like:

 

We request your response by XXXX

 

____ When does the plane leave!

 

 

____ Too long of a flight right now.

 

 

Number of Guests ____

 

 

But then I think I should stay traditional...any suggestions?

We used:

 

Yes! Save us a beach chair or No, we sunburn too easily.

 

Just remember to add a line for the guest's name. We made the mistake of forgetting and then needed to guess who the responses came from on a couple of them. I think we still have one yes RSVP without knowing who it belongs to even with sending out emails asking for people to let us know if it was them..

those are all great. so much more fun than the traditional way. I just may have to use one of those once I start making my invites.

those are great. I think it also depends on how traditional your invites are?

We used: M____ will meet you on the beach, or M____ will be toasting from afar. My wording on the invitations was a bit less formal, though.

Our invites are MIB with our names engraved. We got them through Hanson & Ellis. We had the invitation read:

 

"A perfect shell is a gift from the sea

as beautiful and unique

as our love is meant to be"

 

Then the "please join x and y..."

it sounds like they are a bit more formal than the suggestions, I would stick with something a little more traditional, imo
