purple and green wedding combo?

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone,

I was thinking of having green and purple as my wedding colors/ bridesmaid dresses. I have been having mixed reviews about the colors(initially everyone was like what? those colors don't go but then when they see them to gether they said it is very nice). My dilemma is how do I make thee colors work? Do I use royal purple and lime green, lavender and sage, different shades of purple and accents of green or vice versa, etc.huh.gif?? Should the MH wear one color and BM's wear the other colors or should the MH wear a sash to distinguish her role? Please HEEELLLLPPPP?!!? shots.gif

I think the lavendar and sage would be beautiful. My colors are lavendar and black...it looks tropical yet elegant...I think your sage color would tie in well. Not sure if you see the same invite consultants tag at the end of your post but this advertisement is in a sage and bright purple...you can kind of get an idea and I think it looks great...just my two cents.

My bridesmaids are wearing a really nice dark purple (eggplant) and their having green spider mum bouquets wrapped in purple satin. Most of my table decor is in the deep purple and the green (chartreuse) will be used as accents in the flower arrangements.

I think both colours will pop against the blue of the ocean and their nice rich colours which gives it an elegant but funky feel.

If you like it, go for it! Who cares what others think!
