We had the same issue last week, A pipe broke out in our garage and water was spraying out all night and FI car was frozen to the garage floor. It looked kinda funny actually. he had to put a heater out in the garage to melt the ice of the car. Lucky we were able to just shut off that valve and we'll deal with it in the spring.

Sorry to hear about the plumber bill.... I know they are expensive. have a better week
