Lighting?

For those that are having weddings on the beach (including reception), where did you get lighting? Did your hotel provide it? Does anybody know of any vendors that provide decor lighting?

Your DJ probably has lighting. DJ Mannia does and he is based out of Cancun. EW Cancun (coordinator and decorator) also has lighting.

I got my lighting from a furniture rental company (in Cabo). They had a ton of options.

I am planning to have my reception on the beach at the Royal and asked the same question about lighting (it's SO important for the pics!). I'm using DJ Ivan and he said that he provides lighting, including spotlights for the first dance, speeches, etc. The resort also provides 'mood' lighting like under-lit tables and tikki torches.

We are having our reception on the beach at the Gran Caribe Real Cancun. The resort provides basic lighting (tiki torches, etc) but our photographer is also providing lighting for the photos.
