New York Dress Alterations

Hey Everyone,

 

I bought my dress at a sample sale and need to find someone in the NYC area to do alterations. Can anyone give me any recommendations and/or ideas on how much this should cost? The place I bought the dress gave me a few recommendations but I would like to hear from people in the area if they have had good or bad experiences.

Hi Silvia:
I got my alterations done at David's Bridal on 27th St in Manhattan (the new one). The manager was very professional - and she went to school at FIT. You may want to call and ask for the alterations dept. They may take on non-DB dresses.
