How much should I pay for my passport design?

My friend is a graphic designer. And since he has been very slow I asked him to design my passport invites. He will not give me a price, and I'm sure he spent some time on them, but I am not sure what to charge for the design work. I am paying for the printing/stock/envelopes myself so this is strictly for his time. the invite is very nice looking. It's a small 8 pager (4pager plus 2 sided cover). Maybe some of you ladies who design these can give me an idea. Thank you!

For design-only passports, I charge $50 for a cover and the first two inside pages, then $25 for each two pages thereafter.

My prices are very similar to Sarah's prices but keep in mind we do this almost every day and have templates and graphics for almost everything, he must have spent a lot of time putting everything together so I would pay him a little bit more than that..
