Welcome Drinks at ROR

Could any of you previous brides that got married at ROR recommend a good bar at the hotel to do our welcome drinks at? I'm making a "welcome package" and want to list a schedule of events for the first few days we are there.

 

I was thinking the lobby bar but I was wondering if you guys knew of any nice bars at the hotel (ie. piano bars) or anything like that, that would be suitable to do the welcome drinks at. We've got about 42 guests.

 

Also, do you guys know any of the following (I want to also include this in the info package):

 

1)Where is vendor shopping at the resort? Is it to the left or right of the beach

2)Where can people pick up their snorkel or scuba gear at the beach?

3) What restaurant is open 24 hours?

 

Any other tidbits of info you have would be great. Of course I've scanned this site and found lots of info too.

Thank you so much for responding TAMaureen! I think we'll be arriving in Jamaica for noon...so I was thinking of having everyone get together around 7 or 8. Sounds like the lobby bar is our best bet! Thans again
