To have a MC or not?

I was debating the same thing! I'd kind of like to keep it more relaxed and not have a lot of formal speeches and stuff... probably just have a mic there and then anyone who wants to can get up and say a few words.

We're having a private reception, so I'm wondering what to do about announcing the first dance and stuff if there is no MC... soo much to think about, lol

I definitely want a relaxed, informal wedding but I thought it would be nice to have someone in control while we are having pics taken to round everyone up at the restaurant and to announce our entrance as the married couple. Other than that, I want speeches to be very informal as well. Just not sure what other things I should consider if I do decide to have a MC.
