ideas for what to throw or release after the wedding?

Hey ladies!

 

I was hoping to get some good ideas with what to throw or do after the wedding. I tried to search for this topic, but didn't get any results. I was considering a butterfly release, but after reading that they are often eaten by birds, or are weak or dead in their envelopes I decided against it. That would be awful on such a beautiful day. I know some people blow bubbles or throw flower petals. Any other ideas for a destination wedding? Thanks!

Bubbles, Petals, Confetti, Rice etc. We are doing rice because its a symbol of fertility.

We're doing rose petals. I just love how the pictures look when you have beautifully colored petals coming down.

We are doing bubbles...we figure it's easy and gets everyone invloved, and it's nice to the environment :-)

I love bubbles, and they really show up so well in photos. And, like Tilly in the Sun said, they don't harm the environment.

Bubbles are just fun! They bring out the kid in everyone. But I also love the way that rose petals look in pictures.

I want to do bubbles, I think they are fun and fitting to the beach. And more practical than My dream/ fantasy wedding which involved a butterfly release.

I'm leaning towards the rose petals. They will look so beautiful on the sand.
