Will you walk me down the aisle?

I might use the card idea but put it in a photo frame that has a couple different spots. A spot for the card and then a spot for the photo of us walking down the aisle.

Unfortunately my dad passed away when I was young. I think I am actually going to ask my mom and my step dad to both walk me down the aisle.

My dad died about a year ago, and since then I've been debating on who would walk me down the aisle (my brother, groom and I together, uncle, godfather, groom's dad, mom etc..). I finally decided on my godfather because he was my dad's closest friend and I thought my dad would really want him to take his place. I was really scared to ask because although he and my dad were close, I am not really that close with him personally. Anyway, FI and I went over to their house and told them about the engagement and I asked and he was DELIGHTED. I didn't do anything special, but I think the question itself makes it a special moment.
