i have:

Bought my Dress

Bought my cake topper

Aggreed on my cake

booked the venue (Moon Palace)

signed the contract (free package)

arranged time of ceremony (4pm)

sent out invites

created website

booked venue in the UK for party once we're home

booked the photographer for party once home

booked the dj for party once home

arranged bbq menu for party once home

 

that's about it so far.

 

i am still unsure about what exactly i want from my wedding at the MP. I would like it on the beach (have requested but haven't had it confirmed)

 

i don't know if i want a private event or not

 

i've seen suits for the boys and BM dresses for the girls, but not actually done anything about them yet.

 

flowers for me and groom come with our package.

 

i have no idea what to do about a photographer at the MP. im not sure if i'll bother, but i do want good photos. the MP photographers i haven't heard good things about, so i'd need an external vendor, but i don't think i can afford that.

I'm getting married on July 31. So far I have:

Picked out a dress (haven't bought it yet because I'm trying to lose a couple more pounds and don't want to have to get too many alterations)

Prepared invitations and will mail them after the holidays

Picked out the resort (Azul Sensatori) and paid the room deposit and the wedding ceremony deposit

Picked out a cake

I'm getting married on July 31. So far I have:

Picked out bridesmaids dresses

Decided what groomsmen will wear but haven't picked anything out yet

Decided what will go in OOT bags (waiting until I have the final number of guests coming before I buy anything for the bags yet though)

Decided on the menu for the reception

And decided not to have an AHR becasue the DW is costing more than we planned!

I still haven't decided what I'm going to do about photograpy because the resort only allows two photographers and I haven't really heard anything great about either. Nor have I decided what I'm going to do about flowers. I think I'll bring centerpieces with me and that'll be it for decorations.

The dresses are made of chiffon and are pretty "beachy" looking. Since the wedding is on the beach I wasn't going for anything too formal.

no i agree, what colour? did you say you'd chosen your dress? what's that like?

The MOH's dress is silver and the bridesmaids dresses are a light pink. My dress is chiffon as well. It's a straight dress with crisscross straps in the back. Very plain. I'm not really into fancy stuff.
