DIY Maracas ~ Cha Cha Cha ~

I finished my maracas! I used Mishka's designs as inspiration and really wouldn't have even attempted them if I wasn't on this forum. So they are those tiny ones from OTC, but I love mini-things and think they turned out pretty cute. I did them early so I wasn't up the night before I left painting the little suckers...ahem... cougs... thanks for the advice

 

They are going to go on the seats at the ceremony. Enjoy the pics!

Thanks KittenHeart I absolutely love your inspiration board! That e-pic is still one of my faves that I have seen.

 

I just tried to find the ones I bought on OTC, but they don't have them anymore Essentially I bought the ones in the link below, but they were not painted at all.

Autumn - I love them! I just finished mine too. We did the same technique with the holes in a piece of wood, it worked great! I freaked out because I thought I needed more and OTC isn't selling them anymore like you said. Congrats I love how you did the initials - I am not that ambitious! Mine are just solid colors- how did you do the tags are they stickers?

They look great, Autumn. Good job. I hope you post all of your DYI stuff before you head off to the wedding. BTW, my daughter got married in PV and we all stayed at Dreams. Had a blast.
