Topless Women @ the ROR???!!!!

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone -

I just read some reviews on the Trip Advisor site and several people wrote about topless women on the beach and around the pool at the RIU in Ocho Rios. It concerns me because I will have young children in my group. For those of you who have been to the ROR recently, did you see topless women? I have been to Jamaica and other places several times and have never seen topless women (except while taking a boat tour near Club Hedonism in Negril!). Thanks for your responses.

When we were there for our wedding, we and several other people in our group did see topless women; Not at the hotel pool but on the beach. There weren't topless women left and right but they were there. If you have already booked, I would probably warn the parents of the children who will be there so that there will be no surprises for them and they can be cautious while on the beach. We just turned our hands and kept walking but I know some people prefer not to see it at all. Good Luck!

Lol i love this thread - this is what guys hope we talk about.

I went to the RIU in Negril and there were Lots O topless ladies. I think only Americans think it is unusual to see topless ladies.

I know when I was about 13 and my brother was 8 we saw tons of topless ladies at the hotel we were at in Mexico -One topless lady came over and gave him a band-aid when he stubbed his toe and he was speechless - we still laugh about it.

Anyway I think as long as you warn the parents it will be fine and most people put on tops when they go swimming or standing around

    • Hi everyone! I have been doing lots of research on various wedding venues all around Mexico, my fiance wants a destination wedding and I am happy to have a wedding wherever so long as the vibe is right and guests are happy!  I have been seriously looking at Cabo Azul and was trying to find potential costs for them, but only found a page about their wedding costs from 2010. Does anyone have any updated information on costs / reviews they would like to share of this venue? Or advice in general, anything helps. Thanks so much, happy wedding planning to all!
