Thinking about doing a pary after the wedding for all the friends and family that can't come..can't afford to the the full blown reception..can I just do appitizers and dessert with a cash bar?

Totally!  I think it's totally a great thought to have a low-key get together for guests that couldn't attend.  If you have the budget for it, maybe you can even do a slide show of pics from your wedding so they can see how fabulous it was and feel like they are a part of it.

Your guests could even sign some kind of guest book (or continuation of your wedding guestbook).

We are doing a slideshow of wedding photos, a Dj and heavy appitizers and desserts...with a cash bar..I hope people won't be bored
