Just as Happy Bride said, it is a $1000 deposit by credit card (sometimes a little more depending on fees added by your bank).  I also contacted them through the website but in case you haven't heard anything yet, Blanca is one of the wonderful wedding coordinators at Vallarta Adventures...her email is [email protected].  I'm sure she'd be happy to help.  Good luck! :)

The only thing that went wrong was that the beach where the ceremony usually is got wiped out by the high tide! Fortunately they accommodated us in the other spot where they usually hold smaller weddings. It was almost a bit too tight we wanted an oceanside ceremony so that worked for us. Apparently the ocean was mad at at this trip, my fiancee got bit by a stingray (which are poisonous) on our honeymoon and had to get the venom taken out at the doctors. Oh well, in the end we had a beautiful wedding and a great honeymoon! Nature is nature, nothing you can do about that!

Welcome home, Mrs!  Never considered high tide...or heard it mentioned on here before--I will definitely be checking the tide table now, haha. Glad to hear your husband is ok and that everything turned out beautifully...cannot wait to see your pics!  :)

The deposit was $1000 and I paid it by credit card over the phone.

Keep trying--it will be worth it!

Do not panic, it took them about a month to start getting back to me. I called to reassure to book the exact date I wanted. if you go to their website: vallarta-adventures.com there is a tab with the Wedding Packages. If you click through the tabs it give you a bunch of options.  I started panicking at first but it got easier and all in all they end up being fairly organized and it works out (I am getting married here in two weeks!!!)

Do not panic, you have to remember it is Mexican time...which is hard at first but when it gets down to the details Blanca has been pretty great at getting back to me in a timely manner. I have made sure to be very organized though.

But go to the website and it will give you a "quote" then someone should contact you.  Once you have booked your day they can start sending you info, but I was fairly constant about asking for different images and like quotes and everything.  I hope you have great weddings!! (Blanca has been great!) About half way through the year the wedding planner Annie had quit so I got passed to Blanca and I was quite nervous because we had gone down to PV to meet with Annie and she knew us in person and we talked about a lot but Blanca has basically done the exact same thing but we will not meet her until the week before the wedding.

Hi ladies - I am new, just booked my wedding November 2013!

I emailed Dennise about the dance floor - it's 17.8 square meters, which is a little less than 200 square feet.

I am concerned it may be a little small, but she mentioned it may be possible to get a larger one

Hi ladies, quick question...what are you doing for shoes? I am a little over a foot shorter than my fiance and prefer to wear heels at least for the ceremony. Is that possible on the aisle runner? Or do you think heels will still sink?

I'm not wearing any myself but I've read that some brides have worn those platform sandals...you could probably get away with a wedge, too.  Check out this forum : http://www.bestdestinationwedding.com/t/18087/show-off-your-shoes/2720

Heels will definitely sink in the sand. Keep in mind the aisle runner is only there during the ceremony, you also have stairs to climb and will have to walk on sand for photos. I wore wedges which were a little better and eventually changed into flat jewelled sandals for the reception. I was on the dance floor the whole time anyways (which is a flat flatworm).

I'm not trying to discourage you from wearing heels but they will not be very comfortable. Hope that helps!
