Our planning and events documented...lots of pictures.

Our welcome party was a cocktail party where we gave our guests their welcome bags and just had a good time.

Our invites were ordered through the White Aisle. We designed them and she printed them and ordered the silk boxes through thailand...the woman was very ill during our process so I can't say I would recommend going through her.

I am very excited for our wedding. We have put so much thought into everything that we are doing. I hope our guests love everything and have a wonderful time with us.

Engagement
We were engaged 5/17/08 at Belle Mer in Newport, RI. He picked this day because it was exactly one year from when he “knew†he loved me. The previous year I had my wisdom teeth out and I went to NH to stay with my mom. Benny had gone to NYC because it was the last weekend before his parents went back to DR. He was so worried about me that he got on Amtrak from NY to Boston and then took a bus from Boston to NH to be with me.

The Rings-Benny designed my ring and I LOVE it. We found his ring when we were in London (his favorite place on earth) last year at Thanksgiving.

Hi Congrats everything looks great!

Can you tell me where you got your invitations? What parts were DIY? I'm not the craftiest but I'm hoping to work something to keep pricing low. How much were yours? Thanks!!!

We bought the boxes and the printed part of the invitation from the White Aisle. I did not have the best experience with them so I would not necessarily recommend them. There is a website that sells the boxes from Thailand where she orders from http://www.thaisilkbox.com/Silk-Invitation-Boxes.html. You could pretty much get your invitations printed where ever. We gave her a template of exactly what we wanted. The DIY parts were the assembly, the ribbon around, the punch out flowers and the Promises insert that has a box and velum paper. I will tell you the boxes are pricey. There was a minimum order of 50 so we bought them all used 35 and sold the rest on this forum.
