August Wedding in Maui

Hi Everyone!!!

 

My name is Nidia and I'm super excited to share my wedding news with everyone. I will be getting married August 7, 2010 in Maui. Thanks to this forum my fiance and I were able to find great information about destination weddings and we have decided to hire Deanne from Precious Maui Weddings to help us plan our big day. If anyone has any suggestions regarding reception options, please share. There's a few restaurants we have been looking at but they are not within our budget. Thanks!

Congrats from one Maui bride to another!!! You will not believe how beautiful a wedding in Maui can be - IT'S AMAZING!!! We did a luau for our reception, which ended up being a fantastic deal b/c we got buy 1 get 1 free so it was essentially $50 per person for all food & drink & a fantastic show. We bought VIP tickets, so we had our own section of tables & our own waitress, so our drinks were never empty. The emcee even announced to the crowd that it was our wedding reception & played a song for our 1st dance. I can honsetly say, that the luau will be something I will remember forever & I also believe it brings the spirit of Hawaii into your reception. Just a thought, don't know if you would be interested in a luau or if you're set on a restaurant reception. Either way, good luck & congrats!!!
