Anyone Make Tissue Paper Puffs before?

Recommended Posts

Hi Guys, I'm interested to know if anyone has made tissue paper puffs for their AHR before? I think they look very nice but I can just picture the paper ripping very easily? I read online you can just make them yourself rather then purchasing the martha stewart kit, so figured i would do that with our colors.

Here is a picture, of anyone does not know what they are.

My friend made those for a shower! They look great. I think Martha Stewart has a template on her site so you don't have to buy the kit-maybe mistaken but I think I definitely recall that.

They won't look right if you use anything other than tissue paper...it won't rip as easily as you think! I mean they'll be hanging right?

Good luck!

I have made these for a birthday party - they are easy to make, they don't rip easily and yes to can hang them outside. We double taped where we wanted to string them then we hole punched through the tape then we hung them. It was a little windy and they flowed in the wind just fine. Sorry no pics.

I love these. I ripped out a picture from the most recent Martha Stewart Weddings magazine of them and think we might use them for our rehearsal dinner. I know this is the DIY forum but does anyone know where I can find them? My future in-laws are hosting the rehearsal dinner and . . . . well, they aren't so crafty.
