1st dress fitting in a few days! Still hooked on honey buns :(

Recommended Posts

I thought it was just me but all this wedding business (and I'm moving overseas) is making me all kinds of bad (good) stuff. I'm not a sweet tooth so why do I have to have a daily slice of four-berry pie with a dollop of ice cream! I hit the gym regularly but my workouts now have to keep up with the diet. Agh!

Well I am back from the fitting and I am feeling fabulous!!!! The dress was still as beautiful as I remembered and it needed to be taken in in a few places .... whoo hoo thank goodness for a fast metabolism and those darn Skecher shoes I walk in all day at work.. Toned the bottom and those legs!! I will post pics tonight when I get in from my first scrapbooking gathering. I had to join the group to break up some of the wedding craziness!!

Congrats! Can't wait to see the photos. Will be waiting patiently. I hear you about taking a wedding planning. I am a photographer and have over 4,000 images to process for my clients. I really should get back to doing some of that. :-)

I'm glad it worked out for you, vdaybride. I have my final fitting tomorrow and have tried for the past two weeks to stay away from the snack machine, leftover candy, and cheese while drinking lots of water. It's not easy, so, it's great to know that others are experiencing the same challenges. To make it even worse, my FI has been hitting the gym because he is too skinny and trying to bulk up and GAIN weight before we leave in 16 days!!!!!!!!!! We're like that commercial with the cartoon husband and wife.....the husband drops weight but the wife can't. Oh well, I was pleasantly surprised during my last fitting and I'm sure this one will be even better. Good luck and much will power to us all.

No worries about your dress. I'm sure it fit great and you look gorgeous in it. I think everyone gets nervous when they try on their dress for the first time since they purchase it. I think you will be pleasantly surprised at how those honey buns haven't effected you. Polst a photo so we can see how great you look.

Now if I could say the same about the holidays and my dress. Stupid pies and office parties on top of family meals....

OK, here are the pics. THe first one of course is the dress on the model. The last one is a pic of me and Elise, the former creative director of Kleinfields and the sassy one from "say yes to the dress" my most watched show :). She was super nice and I really enjoyed my experience today. AND OMG I got my band today from Tiffany and my FI band for FIFTY PERCENT OFF!!smile29.gif The day could not have been better!!!!
