shoes for beach ceremony???

Nice!  I'm only 5'2 and I think Im going to go with barefoot sandals for the ceremony and definitely should get something for dancing & the reception... I've been so worried about finding nice barefoot sandals I almost forgot about getting shoes!  Thanks for the reminder!

I am 5' 4" and my husband is 5' 7".  He is already "little" (lol), I will do barefoot sandals for beach ceremony but I am looking for a small heel for the reception.

I'm just wearing white flip-flop wedges for my ceremony. I ordered Colin Stewart brand flip-flops from Victoria's Secret and they seem like they will work.

I was having the same dilemma.  After hours and hours and months of searching, I decided to get these Nina Hilaria shoes.  They come in a bunch of colours, and they seemed a little fancier that regular flip flops.  The only bad part is that my dress is already hemmed, and I had it hemmed for just regular flip flops.  I hope it doesn't look weird in the front!

I'm worried about this also. I'm 5'2, and my petite dress is still too long for me to go barefoot. If I hem enough, I might not be able to wear a heel.

 

How did you ladies do with the flip flops on the beach? I know it's hard to walk in a flip flop on the beach. Was wedge easier to walk in?

I bought wedges for my beach wedding...I'm hoping it's easier to walk in wedges on the beach over flip flops...fingers crossed!
