Finally sent out my STDs!!! *pic*

I had planned to send out STDs in July, a year in advance but, of course, time escaped me and it just never got done! So I finally sat down and whipped up a Save The Date notice using one of our engagement pictures and Photoshop. I emailed them to most people, but have also ordered some in postcard format from VistaPrint to send to those people who don't have a computer/email address.

 

 

I sent the above pic, with the following message (thanks to Shortnsweet for help with the wording!):

 

Hello Family & Friends,

 

As you know, Tim and I are finally tying the knot after seven years together! We have decided to do a destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico which will (hopefully!) double as a wedding celebration and a relaxing vacation.

 

We are sending this notice to give you plenty of time to budget and make travel arrangements, should you decide to join us in Mexico. We completely understand if you are unable to join us due to the travel required and associated costs.

 

Please use our wedding website (timandange.com) as an information resource and a way to communicate with us. We will keep it updated with the latest information regarding the wedding and all associated events.

 

We hope that you will be able to join us for this special celebration and look forward to spending an unforgettable vacation with you and our closest family and friends.
