Invitations

Recommended Posts

Hi ladies, I need some ideas on invites. Do any of you have pictures of yours to include? I have an idea in my head of what I want but haven't seen anything remotely close yet. Also, how did you include all the information necessary for your guests?

Here are mine. They are a DIY, pocket-fold style invitation. I included three inserts: a response card, a STD for the AHR, and a Reservations/Accomodations card (the front side has information about the resort, and the backside information on how to book)

I know the pics aren't the greatest, but maybe you can sorta get an idea.

If you are not able to make such a detailed invite, you can give them the information on a website. It depends on your guest & if you think most of them have internet access. There are many threads about making a website. I just finished mine using weddingannouncer.com . I was really happy with the design tools & it was free! I plan on sending out small invites and then including the web address so my guest can get all the information that way. I will most likely put together a packet for my guest who do not use the internet much and mail it to them. I haven't started this yet, but it will probably be adapted from the website.

Here are mine, I had 2 cards in there - 1 was the invite to the welcome dinner as well, and then the RSVP card, which was printed on both sides - one side to RSVP for the wedding, and one for the welcome dinner. Oh and the RSVP card also asked for guests arrival date, and hotel.

Small world. Yeah...I'm sure we've met before at their house! That's too funny. I did the invites myself, with the help of a friend. She was able to do the more difficult printing stuff, and was just overall a great help. She has also done several other invites for friends in many different styles. I'd be happy to give you more info..
