Moon Palace Beach Weddings

Recommended Posts

Hey gals, I arrived here at the Moon Palace today and there was a beach wedding that just ended around the time I went for a walk on the beach. Here are a few photos of the setup:

as for your question about the candles, there was a steady breeze today that makes me think candles probably wouldnt stay lit for too long no matter what time of year.

they combed the beach around this wedding setup to get rid of some of the seaweed from hurricane ida, so the rest of the moon palace beach looks like this as of this afternoon (i am sure they are going to start cleaning more of it up):

Hi girls! I just got back from my moon palace beach wedding on 11-12-09 and it was wonderful! I will write a more detailed review (just waiting to get some pictures). The day we got there was the day Hurricane Ida was just passing by and there was so much seaweed on the beach! By Monday they were cleaning it up, and you couldn't see any seaweed around my beach setup.

I think the beach setup was def the way to go for me. They have a tan aisle runner that blends into the sand and you can walk down easily in heels. There was a light breeze but with a hurricane holder I think you could easily have had candles.

ALSO, I wanted to tell you who my photographer was: SASCHA GLUCK. Oh my gosh you guys, I can not tell you how amazing he is. If you are thinking about booking him, DO IT. He is one of the most creative photographers I have ever met. He used all these cool techniques to take our pictures and then would show them to us and they looked amazing! Everyone in my wedding loved him!

We got around the outside vendor policy by saying he was a guest at our wedding. We paid for one nights stay for him and never encountered any issues. It worked out great, because the next morning we met up early for TTD pictures on the pier and got some beautiful sunrise pictures.

I'll post my review later, just couldn't resist!
