Any Gran Bahia Principe Runaway Bay Brides out there?

They are just the standard size, same as a credit card.  They don't have any holes in them. We included key card holders in our OOT bags and they were a huge hit.  I would definately recommend them for your OOT bags.  We did have a few problems with the cards while we were there, they would often stop working so we would have to go to the lobby to get new ones.  They said at the front desk that if you put them near any electronics, cell phone, camera ect that they will stop working.

Havent been on here for a little while. Congrats to all the new Mrs. and thanks for all of the helpful reviews. I am so excited!!! I can finally start planning and putting together my invites....almost. I have a date set with my TA but she is just trying to confirm it with the hotel. January 14th 2013!! AND..... someone on here told me to take a look January and my rates went down from $1955 to $1720, and hopefully they will go down from there(thank you to whoever that was) I had a little bit of a scare last week, they dropped the flights from Calgary to Jamaica for next year so we thought they would do the same for Edmonton, and Jamaica would not be an option.(well it would if we wanted to go VIA Toronto and make it an 11 hour flight which would not have done).I am getting super stoked!!! 

 

This has been a GREAT week, I also bought my dress yesterday. I found my perfect dress while trying on dresses on saturday. with alterations it was out of my budget, $1725+$500 worth of alterations. So i decided to call around, and it was the same price everywhere I called but alterations were cheaper at some places. I had called a store in Red Deer to see if they would sell their smple size to me and they had just sold it over the weekend. BUT then the owner called me back and said that a girl had ordered the same dress and had come in to try it on and had snagged it and had wanted to re-order another one. They were going to send the dress back to the manufacturers but said she would sell it to me for $999, so I drove down there yesterday and bought me a dress!!!!!!You cant even see the snag at all. I LOVE IT!!!! and evern more since I got a hell of a deal!!

I noticed that your wedding date is March 13th, I am flying out Feb 25th and staying for two weeks till the March 10th. I was wondering when are you flying out? Maybe I will see you there?

- 2 Chapsticks w/ spf (3 for $1 local flea market)

- 2 Washcloths (Our resort for some reason doesn't have them?) (8 pack $3.99, marshalls)

- 1 Lint roller (2 for $1 target dollar spot)

- 2 Travel size packs of Wipes (3 for $1 dollartree)

- 4 Individual Advil packs

- 4 Individual Pepto packs

- 4 Band aids

- 2 Packs of Gum (dollartree)

- 2 Individual Shout stain remover wipes (amazon)

- 2 Loofahs (dollartree)

- Random candy (lifesavers, mints, ect.) (dollartree)

Bags ... I found some great inexpensive reusable shopping type bags on eBay from seller: onesuperbargain  12 for $11.99 (They are about the regular size of a standard reusable bag, pic attached)

Congrats on buying your dress! Thats great!

They dropped the flights from Calgary to Jamaica?? Thats weird because thats a major airport for departures to Jamaica.

I know! That's why we were so freaked out, I guess there just hasn't been as much travel from there as they hoped. She said it still is going to be leaving from Vancouver and Edmonton direct flight to Jamaica next year. Although it may be a possibility that they drop Edmonton too, but if that happens we will go VIA Vancouver. She said only Air Canada will be offering direct flights only on Mondays from Calgary. We are going through Air Transat. And the cost is much higher leaving Calgary as opposed to Edmonton($1990 out of Calgary and $1720 out of Edmonton). Because the date is so far away things may change but they have definitely dropped the direct flights leaving Calgary next year with Air Transat.
