Anyone been married or getting married at grand palladium bavaro?

Hi

 

I have booked to get married on 8th October 2010 at the Grand Palladium Bavaro Resort and Spa.

 

I would be grateful to hear any experiences of weddings at this hotel.

 

Does anyone have any advice on what rooms to request?

 

I have only a small group coming with me (12) and I am thinking of what I could possibly do for an evening reception without too much expense?

 

My colour scheme is purple by the way.

 

Has anyone been in October? I am slightly worried about the risk of hurricanes!!

The hurricane season in the caribbean is usually June 1 - Nov 30.

If you look for 'married or going to be married at Grand Palladiun Punta Cana' your soon realize we are all go to one of the palladiums,since they are all the same.. most of the wedding's take place on the Bavaro section. You'll find tons of ideas,and info on reception, and what you can do for no extra cost. Lost of reading to do tho lol have fun!!
